Anyone who choses to be a friend of the world becames an enemy of God. James 4:4b Life lived completely in the matrix with no awareness of the Light in the crack, can be temporarily satisfying. Over time, the satisfaction is but temporary satiation. Is there not more than this ego satisfaction, goal-seeking, and finite gratification world? Yes there is! Look within, outside the domain of Chronos, there lies a joy that is infinite and it never results in satiation. This journey is to the center of your being--to your true identity via Christ consciousness. Silently seek that no-thing-ness of God. That wisdom makes your daily road in the matrix your path with heart--your purpose. In that moment of joy, in the matrix, there is the awareness "it is not i, but it IS." |
A Branch from David’s line springs eternal…. Isaiah 11 : 1-6see a tree that never withers, from a stump some feared was dead comes alive with juicy passion, rooted in Isaiah’s stead prophecies and promises foretold of a king of the dauntless spirit of the Lord forever on the wing, with a presence of true wisdom and knowledge He shall bring, Thus, His coming in this Advent makes our joyful hearts now sing. modeling obedience to his Father with delight seeing deeply within hearts, not judging from first sight hearing every pilgrim’s story while declaring what is right justice from His Holy Center turns this crazy world aright.
Underserved become the blessed with this message that he teaches with heart and hands co-mingled, those in need he fairly reaches His word of truth is not ignored by a world he lovingly beseeches yet ignoring all the truth, evil ones miss the message, which he preaches. Wrapped up within this Christmas, the Christ child comes a knocking if we’ll undergird our bellies, ever waiting and not mocking of this drama that brings the world a rocking- simply plant peace in every stocking.
Blessed kingdom of four legged creatures; gone forever are the fear, hate and ugly features. Lion and lamb lying together, and the children reign as teachers all united on the bleachers. The same team in the same game, we are now united hand in hand the drummer boy leads a march into the kingdom from every land - reaching up and out and inward from David’s lineage band.
As ice crystal’s form above us, on a blessed Christmas morn God’s released all that’s dark, holding within all those forlorn. In the valley of the waiting, we will share in the seeing and the speaking. We now know and shall not ignore what’s been prepared. We can boldly run the good race with Christ resolving the good fight, committed to this leading God keeps us in His Light. Out of darkness, into glory, nevermore the dreaded night, enters David’s lineage bright.
Holy Christ child, we are waiting in this sacred season t o feel your peace again in our hearts. We are thankful for your renewed grace which helps us to keep the path open from this peaceful heart space you create within us to the hands that serve the world you love and came to save. We ask for your wisdom and the courage to daily co- create with you a world where children’s’ voices will be heard. A world where the lion and the lamb will live on an earth where we are faithful stewards of the garden you gave us. So be it.
And Jesus answered him saying, It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test'. Matthew 4:7 If we apply matrix principles in our attempts to "understand the mind of God", we surely do not get very far. For example:
Attributions or attributing cause to situations, behaviors, and outcomes has been studied by researchers in psycholology. Much of this research has shown that we attribute cause regarding behavior differently for ourself and our ingroup as opposed to attributing cause to the behavior of "others" or outgroups. We tend to let ourself off the hook (attribution due to unusual circumstance or situation) more easily than we let "others" off the hook. My research in spiritual discernment has resulted in my examining what individuals report as "God caused interventions" in their lives. These too are attributions. Now many of these attributions regarding God that I hear frequently are especially interesting to me. Sure, we often attribute our blessings and healings as being due to God's hand opening doors in our life. Likewise, the inspiration to do and say things is often attributed to God. But what about the tendency to blame God, or to assume you know what God is thinking? I think it is best that we not test God to see if He will answer our prayers or if we can cut a deal. We should be careful we when get confused about why God allows such and such to occur. Be careful when you think you know the mind of God especially as you attempt to explain why God permitted the death, destruction, pain, grieving, catastrophe to happen to you. I suspect it may be your (mine) small mind operating, not God's. "...Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand what we was saying to them. Luke 2:49 The concept of entering Christ consciousness, kingdom consciousness, or our Father's house is not easily understood with matrix eyes in matrix terms. To be doing the Father's business one must first enter the Father's house. The Master frequently pointed it is not I, it is the Father who does the work. The idea of surrender and receptivity to something which is not comprehensible in matrix terms disturbs the matrix-grounded ego. What gave you the courage to enter the Father's house? What kind of assurrances were you granted before you surrendered the ego? Did you enter the Sacred Silence on faith? Was it an overt choice on your part? Without that sacred union in consciousness, who does the works? Effective today, the daily jolt will be henceforth referred to as the nondaily jolt, since that is a more accurate description. It will come when you least expect it. Peace and love to you all--bb He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor. 3: 6 The Spirit gives life. The letter kills. The Spirit resides in the crack in the matrix. The letter is the truth made consumable in the matrix by the human. Read and hear the letter and acknowledge the truth. Experience Spirit and become a minister of the new covenant. Be one with the Creator in Spirit. Be a bearer of life. NEW FEATURE FROM THE CRACK You know you are loved when.... "You are taking a bath and the phone rings and your friend asks, 'are you looking at this sunrise?' and you run naked to the door to see the beauty of creation." For it is the light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: Wake up, O sleeper, Rise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you. Eph. 5:14
Shine a little light on the matrix today. Chose to react to circumstances knowing the truth—seeing in the light of kingdom consciousness. Arise from the dead zone I call “being a slave to the matrix” or living only for this world. Some days it seems it is all we can do to just make conditioned responses that promote survival. We all have days like that, huh? But even in the middle of the muddle, there is a part of us that knows that it is the light. Look at the critical role light plays in human visual perception. Can you see anything that is not light? Whatever it is you see, it is only the light. Examine all things in the light of kingdom consciousness and Christ will shine on you and through you. You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? Matthew 5:13
Burnout happens. It happens to us (students and faculty) at the university at the end of every semester. Pressure builds, time flies, how will we get it all done? The same thing can happen in our lives as servants of God. We really want to make a difference, but the issues we face often seem overwhelming. Death, sickness, separation, poverty, injustice...who has the courage to face these challenges in the matrix?
One thing that helps is to surrender to your unique, individual calling or purpose. I believe that if you enter kingdom consciousness, you will begin to see small, medium, and large ways to serve. Each moment in the matrix offers its unique opportunities to: smile, offer a helping hand, do your assigned job well, or just know the truth in your own consciousness about the matrix when you face difficult challenges. In the Crack in the Matrix, I talk specifically about the ability we have to choose to "not judge" by appearances and how to forgive when you do give power to matrix. I once attended a great workshop conducted by a brilliant and fascinating Native American Indian "man of spirit" whose name was Al. Al was one of the first persons to show me the many points of correlation between the sacred teachings of indigenous Americans and the teachings of Christ. Thank you, Al. Al also shared the secret of not burning out as a servant of God. It was simple. To avoid burnout, be on fire! Thanks again, Al. Discover your true identity, discover your purpose, and BE ON FIRE to do what you are called on to do. Whether it be large or small, you will have the resources to be on fire if you chose.
you know you are loved when on the other side of the phone your parents and siblings hug you regardless of being hundreds of miles away...under foreign skies. you also know you're loved when you say you love him and he remains in silence because he loves you so much that saying it with words would lower the elevation of his love for you.

Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I planned for him/her is not fit for the Kingdom of God.
DAILY JOLT:
You and I (and the churches in America) have creative problem-solving to do in our homes and in our communities. The government can no longer meet all the needs of its citizens suffering during this recession. Fortunately, even in these difficult times, the infinite source of all supply is at hand. If we do not get distracted from the work we came here to do, we will do our part to be of assistance to someone every day.

Whither shall I go from your spirit….Thou art there.
I cannot comprehend the infinity, eternality, and omnipresence of spirit. But I can awaken to and begin to discover the “Thou art there” in all that I do to serve. If I will surrender to serve, God will provide infinite supply for that need.
Today we Americans will elect a leader to serve America.
Will you wish the elected one well?
Will you lift up a prayer for whoever he shall be?
Will we as Americans unite, to serve?

The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he can not understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Is there more to life than the pleasures and pains of the matrix? Am I content just to maximize my pleasures in the matrix? "What foolishness it is," thinks the matrix-bound perceiver, "to consider the possibility of spirit." "Don't be a fool. The time, space, and other finite measures of matrix is all there is. There is no crack in the matrix. There is nothing but now and this! So enjoy all the pleasures of the matrix as soon as you can and for as long as you can!" screams the fully-matrized one.
But listen carefully in the silence of surrender to your breath, to your life, to this creative moment, and know that there is a crack. This is a different way of knowing--an incomprehensible, ineffable awe that goes beyond awesome.
You have been given the precious gift of a glimpse of the crack. Flowing through that crack in the matrix is that infinite, eternal Light that awakens us to our opportunity to serve the ones who may even think we are but fools. Our time has come to join in union to serve. Let us join together invigorated by that Light to serve God and country. What better time than now?
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Mystical union with the Infinite, Eternal Oneness explodes the metaphysical boxes of intellectual understanding. When the structure of the matrix is fragmented by a glimpse of the crack in the matrix, the human tendency is to respond with fear, awkwardness, or similar emotional discord. Such an emotional reaction should come as no surprise since,our survival has depended upon our ability to successfully navigate the matrix with words, concepts, and comprehension or understanding by the ego. Enter the crack and comprehension goes out the window! Consciousness at that moment transcends the sense-making self. Christ Consciousness or illumination of consciousness becomes possible beyond the ego-dominated matrix. Imagine your heart and mind one with the mysterious mystical flow. Surrender to mystical union and know peace.
Matthew 6: 24 No one can serve two masters....You can not serve both God and Money.
You can not serve both God and the Matrix. Through grace, as you commune with the Infinite Creative Flow, the illusions of the matrix begin to burst like bubbles in a child's bubble bath. Changes in awareness regarding the illusions of the matrix come in a flash in the LIght that flows from the crack in the matrix. Other changes in awareness occur as you begin to recognize and accept your opportunities to serve (not your ego) but your neighbor in consciousness. Some might call this discovering your calling or purpose. Those who serve divine purpose grow in awareness, often gaining a broader vision or a transformation in consciousness. Amazing how many ways self-actualized servants serve others.
..."Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that he breathed on them, and said "Receive the Holy Spirit." John 20: 21-22
What about your breath? Can you live without your breath? The breath is essential for your life. The breath is also an avenue of awareness into spiritual consciousness. How can the breath teach about spiritual consciousness? Simply turning one's awareness to the breath and being receptive to learn from the breath, has been a pursuit of many persons seeking spiritual consciousness. What idea was Jesus conveying when HE BREATHED on them and said receive the Holy Spirit? Is the breath a spiritual avenue? Is spirit like the breath? Life-transforming states of consciousness are often described as enlighting experiences. What is this light that enlightens? How can everyone be enlightened? Maybe part of the transformation is a recognition of the one's true identity outside the layers of the matrix. Within the matrix our identity is student, doctor, lawyer, mother, son, and other finite, operationally-defined concepts. In the crack, conceptual thinking and analysis gives way to surrender to the light. In the light of illuminated consciousness, your true identiy emerges. In the light, you can be the image in which you were created. You are the light of the world. The more your light-identity emerges in surrender, the more illumination you bring to the world. Let it shine!

How frequently we hurry about...rushing to do this or that, losing our selves and our souls to a false god that promises us that "WE can get our spiritual gear together." It is as if we have set about to gain control over some sort of established spiritual eqanimity by trial...if I can just get that done...once that goal is achieved...ah! I know what I can do!...and so on. All this activity seems effort wasted in the delusion that WE restoreth our own souls. In that role the ancients might call us idolators. Indeed, we are not God and we lack that kind of divine restorative power.
But what we do not lack is the power to receive the divine Grace and Light that waters our soul, strengthens our wholeness, and transforms our relationship to All That Is. We do not lack the ability to quiet our being, to listen to the gentle insistent Holy Spirit that reassures, comforts, and awakens us to a "peace that passeth understanding." It is in that letting go, as a child who has felt the pressure of his mother's hand and knows the reality of that love through no effort of his own, finds the essence of life and becomes conscious of Its Truths.
It is no more possible for us to walk through the Crack in The Matrix than it is for us to look into the Face of God...but it is possible for us to soul-bathe in Its Light and mysteriously receive the restoration, power, and communion that heals, connects, and redeems us from the madness of our distractions. In meditation, altered states of consciousness, or contemplative prayer we release and let "flow"... and unfailingly receive in full measure our soul restored.

Life sure has its ups and downs. I know my life has sure had its ups and downs. Everybody I know has had their ups and downs in the matrix. Even when I am separated from the ones I love dearly (such as my children), I am not separated from the love of God. When I silently enter the sacred space of no-thing-ness, God's love is always there. When I am having one of those seasons of being down, I use those feelings as a cue to remind myself to stop and enter my closet in consciousness. If I surrender, God's love is there. When I am having one of those seasons of being up, I use those feelings as a cue to stop and give thanks for my blessings. If I really gave no power to the appearances in the matrix, maybe I would be thankful for those down days too. After all, they do remind me to stop, surrender my burdens, and experience the noncontingent love that is there for us all. That source found outside the matrix is the source of all my love, including the love that brings strong commitment in the matrix (e.g., children).

Colossians 2:20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules:
The matrix seduces your ego with powerful reinforcers. These reinforcers have correlates in the brain, cognitive processing, and external environments. Imagine how it feels to be a powerful, in-control, good-looking, wealthy, healthy being in the matrix. What could feel more comforting than having NO WEAKNESSES! By God, the ego proclaims, “I know it all! Look at me! I am something!”
Perhaps we are genetically pre-wired for powerful dopamine “rushes” when we demonstrate POWER AND CONTROL. We certainly get those “rushes” from orgasm and “falling in love”. Didn’t I learn growing up in America, that a good man is a good provider. Consequently, I feel good knowing I can provide for my children. It feels good when I perform well at my job. Being loved and accepted by my friends feels really GOOD. So, what’s the problem?
The problem is that we have all been seduced by the matrix into believing that the reality we SEE (bipolar matrix measures) is whole story—the final judgment! In fact, these ego-pronounced judgments are at best finite and temporary. Yet look how the ego loves to see “how things measure up”. For example, I/We are better than, smarter than, more spiritual (ha!), than You/Them. This is the matrix pronouncement of JUDGMENT. These judgments are in finite terms that are correlated with conscious processing and external conditions and environments.
BUT in the Crack in the Matrix in union and oneness…where bipolar dualities vaporize into infinity and eternality….
Have you ever thought about no-power power? That is, power infinite thus immeasurable and incomprehensible?
Have you ever thought about an infinite judgment?
Beyond the thought of such things is the Silence waiting to teach me if I listen.
