What is the "crack in the matrix?"

Awareness in consciousness is a key to spiritual enlightment.   This book offers a framework for examining consciousness research and one’s personal consciousness.  Metaphysical and mystical states of consciousness are operationally defined and correlates of those states of consciousness are examined.  Critical thinking skills are exemplified as applied in a self-management strategy called cognitive behavior analysis.  The Analysis Zone (AZ) is illustrated as the prototype of critical thinking.  Creative thinking skills are exemplified as activities of the Neutral Zone (NZ).  The NZ includes the initial phase of brainstorming, flow experiences in music, art, and sport, mediation, meditation, and mystical consciousness.  Metaphysical and mystical correlates of kingdom consciousness are developed.  Awareness of the metaphysical constraints of ego or self (metaphysical awareness) permits its distinction from mystical (ego-free) consciousness.  The book begins with a summary of the findings of the Spiritual Discernment Project and concludes with Kingdom consciousness ideas as expressed in the Christian public domain.
